My Next Projects

Will attempt to re-create the same unicorn. I think it's a beautiful one, and my attempt won't be the same... but this temptation in me is killing me. I HAVE to sketch this. Unicorns have been believed to be fake, unreal horses... but really, I think they do exist. I haven't decided whether I should colour it or not... but most probably, I am better at colouring than black and white sketches.
Another tiny project to kill boredom. Will re-create some of these care bears. They are sooo cute, can't wait to draw them.

Wow... Enlargement

I never knew this. :O I can just click on the picture and it enlarges in another tab/window. It actually shows full detail in that one.

I wish we could post the enlarged version in the first place... but oh well... I like this hidden feature.

Art Portfolio Title-Page

My very first assignment for art class. I actually poured my heart out on the outer border. It even took me forever to find the good quote that I can explain. I love my portfolio's title-page. :D I think it's the most prettiest thing I made in years.

Doodles on the Wall

I drew this on my wall *parents don't know that*... I drew it... and then covered it with a poster... LOL... I love this little fairy... but don't want mum to figure out that I've been doodling on the wall.

It's a simple little picture, but I had to cover it. I can't even erase it anymore. :( For some reason, the pencil I used was screwed up.

Cassie

My Cassie. My cute little Cassie.

She's the cute little dragon from Dragon Tales. An awesome TV show. I wish I could draw better... so that could've made her look cuter. Ahh... I WISH I could draw BETTER. T_T Cassie looks much cuter in the show.

Who buys such an expensive camera anyways? I shouldn't work in advertisement person in any company... the sales of that company would start to fall drastically.

Bird Stencils

Colourful Birds! :) I used stencils for this. and then dipped toilet paper in blue paint for the clouds. I wanna make this again! It was fun painting on stencils and then a bird magically appers on the bottom. I loved it since its not so hard to do. WOO-HOO. A beautiful peice of work developed in a long time.

Rainbow Hut

I was in Grade 3 when I did this. I don't even remember how! :O I will have to ask mum the steps on doing this again. It looks pretty nice, I wanna do this again. All different colours ina picture. I like this one. :D

Basic Start on Pencil-Shading with Steps

The shading of the Sphere, Triangle, and Cylinder was a lotta fun. I got about 14/15 on this assignment. :D They are okay, but I picked it up a bit fast this time.

It literally took me 5 minutes to do one sketch. In half an hour of focus constant, I was done. I didn't even spend that much time on being a perfectionist and the teacher actually liked them. I should start being lazy and leave things for the last minute. I get a good mark on those only! -_- How stupid is that?

My picture isnt as beautiful as the song. I didn't even colour the garden's grass. And I am not planning to finish it anymore. It's okay-ish. Not even cute as I imagined it.

Colourful Trees

I painted fall season. When all the leaves are colourful, and have started to fall off the branches. I made a wash of water first, and then lazily applied little amounts of transparent paint.

Pretty ugly. I could've dont better, but didn't know how... so just left it like this.

Watercolour Techniques

These two techniques were basically for sky and water.

Do a wash of blue paint and use a toilet paper to make the clouds.

Do a wash of orange (I was suppose to use blue, but I felt like using a happy orange for this) and use a paper-clip end to make the effects of water.

Alchohol drops was awesome! Teacher told us not to sniff it, play with it, taste it, drink it, or squirt it on other people. I broke all the rules but I just didn't taste it. LOL... It smelled pretty disgusting too.

So I made a wash of orange paint, and then used a eye-dropper to make those alchohol effect on paper.

This was okay. I used a candle... doodled my name and flowers on it... and then made a wash of red and small amount of green. It turned out pretty nice.

Pooh Bear

LOL... I could do better.

I did this t-shirt assignment last minute and you can tell with my colouring technique that I had to rush it. I had two days to do it. I was suppose to design my own t-shirt with my favourite cartoon-character. (And pooh-bear was the easiest thing to do in 10 minutes) So I did this picture in 10 minutes. :)

I truly believe that I could've done better.

Forest Sketches

We literally went to a hiking area to sketch these drawings. All I did was doodle on paper. I was feeling a bit sick that day too, plus my mind didn't let me focus. I don't know what I drew, andnow it looks like a 5-yr old kid doodled them. I knew I could've sketch so why try now? I gave up a long time ago.

Bird Family; Loons

They look like penguins, but they are really called loons. This painting was originally created by Mr. Norval but we had to draw it again on paper, and then paint it with whatever colours we like. It's outer layered skin had to be black.

I think I did a pretty good job on this one. Teacher liked this one. But still gave me a 70% on it. :(

Colouring Pages; Taj Mahal; Pyramids of Egypt

Taj Mahal and The Pyramids of Egypt. Teacher gave us colouring sheets on them so see if we can use transparent water colours on them. I got 9/10 on both. Which isn't so bad.

I mean, its COLOURING. Who gets a bad mark on them? I wouldn't ever fail on colouring pages. *the only one thing I am good at*

Unrealistic Landscape

It was suppose to be unrealistic. But it looks too cartoonisized to me. WHY CAN'T I DO SOMETHING UNREALISTIC?

Unfortunately, Watercolors and Uru are two words that don't go together to come up with something beautiful.

Daddy's Little Girl

I thought it will turn out to be a beautiful sketch, but only excellent artists can do. I spent a bit of time trying to perfectify the hands, but no luck. I can't sketch. I am planning to give up art next year. :( I can't sketch two basic hands... I know I can't. So maybe, I will take business or something for next year. What's the point of continuing something you can't do?

Chariot Race

This sketch was suppose to be a Chariot Race, and apparently... my moving horse looks like a screwed up moving donkey. Who would say it looks like a horse?

Perspective Drawing

It took me forever to follow the steps of perspective drawing. I could've done better if I didn't have to use a ruler the the horizon line. I like to free draw, not step-by-step one.

My teacher just pitied me and passed me on this one. T_T She thought I was trying so she had to pass me.

Abstract Magic

If you look closely, I cut out 4 different parts to a paper and then just used a black crayon to colour to draw. Then I put it together and it eneded up as a lady's face. I don't know if my teacher saw it or not... it was suppose to be a face. I really like this one too.

Greek Art

Worked hours on this collage. It was suppose to be on Greek Art, and suppose to have a mysterious or nice background. I spent my entire evening working on this. I only got an 70% on it since I misspelled one sculpture's name wrong.

I learnt to do pencil shading a few years ago, I don't remember how old this drawing is. A pretty nice one. I like this drawing.

Colouring Page; Peacock

An old Painting. Done with WaterColour Pencil Crayons. I was in Grade 7 when I coloured it. I think I was in Ms. Rowberry's art class when I made it. Ms. Rowberry was really nice, so she decided not to mark this colouring assignment. Or else, I would've failed this too.

Pretty Screwed up, huh?

This painting was worth 10% of my art class mark, and the teacher didn't like it... again. It was more like a mini exam that I could take home. I had to make the same bird, and just change the background and details. I am so not good at this. This was my best attempt on Steller's Jay. I wish I was as better as other art students.

Ghost Watching the Fishes

I made this painting for art homework, when I had a choice of painting anything for homework. I painted a Ghost, who is silently watching the beautiful fishes in the deep ocean. Ghost is in the under-water ship, and wishing that it was a fish instead of a lost soul.

I didn't get a good mark for it though. Teacher didn't like the fact I couldn't paint like the other artistic kids. She kept on telling me to focus, I tried to focus, but she never liked my work.
